The Mother Institue traces its origins to many of our own families work in healthcare, social services, childhood development and educaiton.
Dr. Martine Simms, great grandmother of our founder, opened the first Kidd’s Enrichment Center in 1946. During a time when healthcare infrastructure was in its infancy, Kidd’s Enrichment Center became one of the first institutions to offer and specialize in comprehensive childcare services. What began as a community service supporting families as they change and grow, eventually became a mission to make sure more families had every option available as they began their journey. A commitment to ensure that anyone who wanted to start a family could. Kidd’s Enrichment Center became The Mother institute, established as a traditional IVF center with a focus on full systems health and wellness for both children and aspiring new parents.
